Desirée Vila began her athletic career on the Spanish National team for gymnastics, but due to an injury and medical malpractice lost her right leg. This led her to reinvent herself and pursue sprinting and long jump events at the World Para Athletics Championships. Join us in learning more about resilience and humor in the face of adversity.
