On behalf of TransPerfect and Translations.com, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our first (and hopefully last) GlobalLink NEXT Europe Virtual Conference. We are very excited to present the content this year as a virtual event, which gives us a tremendous amount of flexibility in the types of sessions we can offer as well as how you are able to consume the information.
But this conference is not about the content. Or the presenters. This conference is about YOU. It’s about giving you the opportunity to learn from fellow GlobalLink users. It’s about connecting you with the architects of our solutions and offering you the ability to influence the future of GlobalLink. Most importantly, it’s about providing actionable information and data that you can take back to your office to drive greater process efficiencies in your content (even if your office these days is at home).
All of us on the GlobalLink team take great pride in knowing that our solutions power the global operations of the world’s most respected brands. And we greatly appreciate your taking time from your busy schedules to learn more about our solutions.
We certainly will miss having face-to-face interaction with all of you, but the safety and well-being of you and our staff are our top priorities. We are confident that our virtual format will give you more access to valuable content than ever before. We’re also planning some fun things to try to make it as close to an in-person event as possible. And the great thing is that you won’t have to wear a mask while viewing any of the sessions or bathe in hand sanitizer.

What are the system requirements to join GlobalLink NEXT?
- Windows 7 and above, running Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported.
- MacOS 10.9 or later, running Chrome and Firefox. Safari is not supported.
- iPhone 5S or later, running iOS 11 and up.
- Android 4.0 or later, running Chrome.

I am not getting any sound on the live stream
You can increase the volume on the video player on the bottom player bar by increasing the levels on the ramp icon on the bottom right corner.
The output device I want to use isn’t showing up—how can I fix this?
First, check the physical connection to your device by either unplugging and reconnecting your physical headphones or toggling Bluetooth on and off.
If you are confident that the output device is connected correctly, check your system preferences to ensure your computer recognizes the device. On a Windows device, click the loudspeaker 🔊 icon on the bottom right of your screen, and you’ll be able to change output device. On a Mac, visit System Preferences > Sound to choose your output devices.
My devices are connected properly, but I can’t hear anything!
If you’re confident everything is connected properly, your devices might be being used by another tool or application. Make sure tools like Zoom, Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, etc., have been closed prior to starting the session.
