She also is a California Certified Public Accountant (Inactive Status) and an Advanced Certified Open Water Diver. Daniel Edmund is a dynamic Speaker, Presenter, Filmmaker and Social Entrepreneur. His work is largely based in social action and system change. Daniel is passionate about making this world more equitable for everyone in it, especially women, People of Colour, LGBTQ+, young people, etc. He is the host of the podcast Race & Gender Unfiltered and is currently working on his debut documentary under the same name.

Dr. Elaheh Ashtari is a clinical and forensic psychologist and assistant professor in the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UTHealth McGovern Medical School. She is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist, the Director of Psychology Services at UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center (HCPC), and has been instrumental in promoting integration of LGBTQ+ best practices into healthcare service provision, education, and research at UTHealth. In 2020, she was appointed the inaugural Vice Chair for Diversity and Inclusion for psychiatry, and she chairs the Psychiatry Inclusion Council.
Ashtari graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Honors from University of Houston. She went on to earn a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department – Forensic Unit in Houston, Texas and completed a two-year forensic postdoctoral fellowship at North Texas State Hospital in Vernon, TX. Ashtari has experience working with adolescents and adults in various settings including juvenile detention centers, adult probation, inpatient hospitals, private practice, and community mental health centers. Her clinical interests include malingering, forensic psychology and assessment, recidivism, dual diagnoses, trauma, personality disorders, as well as LGBTQ+ health disparities.
Additionally, Ashtari is involved in the department’s education mission and as a result of her education efforts and innovations, she was inducted into the Academy of Master Educators. She developed curriculum for medical students on LGBTQ+ healthcare, and is currently creating curriculum for faculty development. She also provides clinical supervision, lectures, and training to psychiatry residents, medical students, psychology predoctoral interns, and practicum student clinicians. She is a content expert in sexual and gender minority mental health and has conducted numerous speaking engagements to educate those in healthcare and beyond on matters affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, decorating, crafting, and spending quality time with her family, partner, and Chester, their newly adopted Yorkshire Terrier.

Kris Hayashi joined Transgender Law Center in May 2013 to oversee personnel management and human resources, finance and operations, strategic planning, and the integration of racial justice via an intersectional analysis in TLC’s programmatic and legal work. Kris became Executive Director in February of 2015. Kris has been active in social, racial and economic justice organizing for over 20 years. For the last ten years Kris served as the Executive Director/Co-Director of the Audre Lorde Project, a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color organizing center based in New York City. Previously he served as a Trainer/Organizer at Western States Center in Portland, Oregon and as Executive Director of Youth United for Community Action – a youth organizing group in California, led by young people of color organizing for social and environmental justice.

Laura van Dernoot Lipsky is the founder and director of The Trauma Stewardship Institute and author of "Trauma Stewardship" and "The Age of Overwhelm." Widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of trauma exposure, she has worked locally, nationally, and internationally for more than three decades.
Much of her work is being invited to assist in the aftermath of community catastrophes - whether they are fatal storms or mass shootings. Simultaneously, she has long been active in community organizing and movements for social and environmental justice and has taught on issues surrounding systematic oppression, structural supremacy, and liberation theory.
Laura is on the advisory board of ZGiRLS, an organization that supports young girls in sports. She is a founding member of the International Transformational Resilience Network, which supports the development of capacity to address climate change. Laura also served as an associate producer of the award-winning film "A Lot Like You," and was given a Yo! Mama award in recognition of her work as a community-activist mother.

Naomi and Natalie are sisters and the creators of Everyday Racism, a UK based organisation and Instagram platform which focuses on anti-racism work. Naomi is mother to two boys and Head of Drama at a large secondary school. She has worked in education for over 15 years and is also a trained presenter. Natalie is a 31-year-old events manager. After completing her degree in Event Management, she has managed various festivals, tours and events in the UK.
Naomi and Natalie are both of Black Jamaican and White British heritage. In May 2020 a video of Natalie went viral on twitter when she confronted two men racially abusing a ticket conductor. Following this they set up an anti-racism platform on Instagram @everydayracism_ which currently has over 140k followers. The page shares stories from BIPOC and educational posts focusing on anti-racism.
Most recently they have provided training sessions for companies such as Bupa and Lloyds Bank and written articles for Red and Grazia magazine. Their work has been featured in the London i newspaper and they recently appeared on the UK Channel 5 news documentary “Everyday Racism”.

Theresa Goh is a former Paralympic Swimmer from Singapore. She represented her country in various international competitions for 20 years before retiring at the end of 2019. Theresa participated in 4 Paralympic Games and was the first female Singaporean swimmer to qualify for the Paralympics in 2004. A former world record holder in the 50m and 200m Breaststroke SB4 category, she clinched her first Paralympic medal, a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke SB4 category, at the Rio Paralympics on her 4th Paralympic Games outing. A pioneer in the disability sports scene in Singapore, Theresa strongly believes in the importance of seeing the ability in a person and without erasing their disability. Theresa identifies as a Queer athlete with disability tries to speak up more for LGBTQ rights especially in Singapore.
